Mauro 1 Shelf Storage Unit in Terracotta

Mauro 1 Shelf Storage Unit in Terracotta

If a colour could hold the feeling of late afternoon sun on warm stone, it would be terracotta, and the Mauro 1 Shelf Storage Unit wears it with the kind of easy confidence that makes a room stop feeling like a work in progress and start feeling like somewhere worth staying. Two open compartments span a frame measuring 38.2 cm wide, 72.8 cm tall, and 32.9 cm deep, all finished in a smooth matte terracotta surface that pulls every bit of richness from the tone without a trace of shine to flatten it. Matte finishes doing something important to bold colours: they give them gravity, stopping the eye from sliding past and inviting it to actually settle. At 13 kg, this unit is a genuinely substantial piece, grounded and steady with the kind of physical presence that makes a corner feel anchored rather than arranged. Terracotta at this scale fills a room with warmth that no throw, cushion, or candle has ever quite managed on its own.
